The role is permanent on a 4: 2 roster, working daily in 12-hour shifts (night or day). The position can be residential based in Kalgoorlie or can be FIFO. Accommodation and meals will be provided whilst on site. Duties include: *Above all else - maintain a clean and safe worksite and equipment and ensure safety is paramount to all team members! *Lead a team of X to ensure your drill rig is continuously operating at an efficient rate ensuring drill rod changes, testing and sampling, cleaning and assisting with repairs and maintenance of the rigs, vehicles, equipment and tools is completed at a high standard. *Be willing and able to work and live in extreme, remote exploration environments - living in caravans with full kitchen, shower block and laundry facilities. Essential Criteria: *Heavy Rigid Driver's licence *First Aid Certificate - HLTAID001/002/003 *Cert III or IV in Drilling Operations *Possess mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency and initiative. *Possess a great work ethic and an ability to lead a small team with a can-do attitude and a willingness to mentor others. Our position offers an excellent opportunity to experience the West Australian Outback whilst earning excellent hourly rates including daily metre bonuses!
