22.01.2022 You are perfectly imperfect

15.01.2022 It’s been a bit quiet over here at Terra Bloom HQ. As the last of spring drifts off I have been spending most of my days dreaming and planning in preparation of the long sunny days ahead. For majority of florists, this is their time, the same time as the flowers bloom, but for Terra Bloom this has been my time to reflect and gather inspiration and new ideas for the shift into a new decade. I am currently working on a new concept, one that comes from my heart and speaks ...to my spirit. One that has me moving away from events and single use floral displays, and moving towards a longer lasting, sustainable and healthy relationship with the floristry industry. Floristry is incredibly wasteful, although inspiring, and I have personally struggled with this concept for a while now. I have always tried my best to re-use, reduce and recycle but with the demand for single use flowers there will always be an outrageous amount of waste and a carbon footprint that spans world-wide. 11.01.2022 Spending these long and hot summer days mostly in my garden, tending to the flowers, taking my time. I have not created much since the beginning of this year, but I have grown. I have grown flowers, fruit, herbs, veggies and love. Taking it super slow during these early months, so here, enjoy this cute pic from my garden
