25.01.2022 Exciting opportunity. Get in touch with Michelle if you're keen.

24.01.2022 If you are interested in what we are growing and doing at Forrest on Conte and are in the area, please feel invited to join us for a garden tour, and afternoon tea with a discussion of what we would like to achieve in 2020 (topics, locations, ideas). This event is part of the Pemberton Food Gardening groups monthly meetings and workshops but non members are encouraged to come along and join us for networking and socialising. (Note: the subsequent dates are not all tours of our place , they will be other garden club meetings)

23.01.2022 We are looking to fit in some Permaculture Design course topic extension in Regen Ag, Agroforestry and Food Forest flavoured weekend workshops to increase our educational offerings. Let us know if you want to be kept in the loop for Pemberton based 2 day workshops. Format would be 10am-6pm Saturday start, 9am-3pm Sunday finish for those that need to travel. With a group dinner on Saturday night at Source Kitchen. Yes it will be full on but you can rest at work on Monday :P

21.01.2022 As sad as these restrictions are for Victoria, it is interesting to see Permaculture get a mention in the limited Agriculture "Open for Business" section. We are moving up in the world of relevance as everything turns to crap.

16.01.2022 And so it came to pass that Terra Perma started its 3rd Food Forest and wider agroforestry farm project at Forest on Conte. For those wanting to follow this daily learning, design and propagation journey follow us at https://www.facebook.com/ForestonConte/

15.01.2022 Photo Update of Forest on Conte for the start of November. Life got a bit busy preparing for and running the Permaculture Design Course and restarted Terra Perma Design education and design business. Next PDC date is penciled in as April school holidays next year.

13.01.2022 1 month until our next Permaculture Design Course (PDC) in Pemberton !! If you know of anyone feeling uncertain about their future and dis-empowered by 2020 suggest they have a look at Permaculture as a process to guide them back to nature, simple living, local community and self reliance. This course will skill you up to be happy in your own skin, grow healthy food, set up native gardens, build or retrofit your home to be energy efficient and comfortable, understand how com...munity share and swap groups work and can be started, and so much more. All levels of garden and life experienced welcome. Our 12 PDC's have proven this to be a life changing experience for high school grads, city slickers, engineers, humanitarians, horticulturalists and farmers. Start joining life's dots with a PDC this year and make something good of 2020. http://www.terraperma.com.au/design-course---pdc.html See more

12.01.2022 Three weeks to go and just two spots left on this course, so for those thinking about joining us please touch base. We're happy to help folks with finding accommodation options, so if its that holding you back just let us know. P.S. We're having our biennial tangle with the update of the email spam filters. So if you've contacted us with an expression of interest or a query and we've rudely ignored you, then please either check your spam folder or fire us through another email with your phone number or say 'interested' in a comment below and we'll get in touch with you via a pm. We hate to find out at a later date that people have been feeling neglected!

11.01.2022 Is the Warren Ag Show in your diary? Why not enter some of the competitions and make a day of it? Classes and entry forms online and in the show books. Terra Perma will be running the Farm and Garden information zones again this year with talks/workshops/panel discussions on composting, bee keeping, fire retardant tree planning and planting, edible weeds and ways to sink rainfall into the dryer areas of the farm instead of watching it run off with your topsoil. PJ Produce will be there too with a few tips, tricks and nifty tools for market gardening.

07.01.2022 An update of the Homesteading garden at Forest on Conte.

04.01.2022 Happy New Year to all! For those beginning their exploration of Permaculture, this is a perfect intro.

01.01.2022 Charles Otway will be presenting/facilitating at this ripper weekend opportunity in Mount Barker for those in the area. Great to see him teaming up with Yann Toussaint after many years of ships passing in the night on the presentation circuit and all too brief other catch-ups!
