16.01.2022 Our first session of the school holidays, don’t forget we are an all weather event, just bring extra warm clothes. But since we are inland we have got limited rain and hardly any wind, so we look forward to seeing everyone today

12.01.2022 What a day, we were completely soaked through, counted between lightening strikes and thunder, had a huge mud fight, warmed up with hot milo, made bows arrows and spears, made rafts, went on the dam walk, had so much fun, and I bet everyone has headed home for warm showers

11.01.2022 Who is looking forward to Natural Tie Dye, we will experiment and talk about what colours the children think our ingredients that we can get from the kitchen can make. Here is one example from last school holidays, bring along a shirt, socks, singlet or even fabric which you can use later the make a holder for all the amazing things you find on a bush walk. 10.01.2022 Did you know we are expecting piglets again, our large white Mumma pig wiggy is expecting, these gorgeous little ones are from her last litter. Still spots left for all sessions, we also encourage families to bring their food scraps (fruit,veg,dairy and bread - no meat) to give to the pigs biggest way to make friends with our 11pigs, they also love a nose scratch.

09.01.2022 It has been super quiet around here, but we are getting ready for school holidays, I know it’s a month and a half away but it is a busy time for everyone so we wanted to make sure your children can unplug and be out in nature. Our program is changing a bit as we move more in a child led play model. Even know there are a theme for each session ensure that your child/ren have free range in our expanding forest school area. That’s right we are going bush, for those that know the... line of trees is our boundary not anymore we are working on expanding our area so we can find more building materials, more trees to climb and more space to explore. The school holidays will be the introduction of a large tool area where hand tools, saws are available to use at every session to create. Also all structures have been pulled down to make room for new and exciting creativity. Our resource shed has been refilled and the dam filled wi5 this glorious rain, so our frogs are in high population. These school holidays will see the option of the water slide in the morning so the kids can come back explore, create or even rest in a hammock while listening to the sounds of the bush. Every day all children will get the chance if they choose to feed animals, collect eggs and cuddle baby animals (we should have chickens). 06.01.2022 Today we are celebrating our 1st birthday, it has been 1 year since we held our very first forest school session. We have loved every single session held, the children amaze me with their creativity, knowledge and initiative. I can’t wait to see what our second year looks like. 05.01.2022 I’m not even sure how we fit everything in today, there was al,ost everyone on the dam walk, he most amazing shelters built, fish / tadpole finding, raft surfing, hide and seek, the waterslide, a take over of the forest school area of a tribe with bamboo and bows and arrows, oh and we can’t forget the frogs!!!!! We only have one more day left of the school holidays and then it’s all over, we have had so much fun already.
