25.01.2022 SAUVIGNON BLANC Sauvignon Blanc is the only white variety planted in our Wrattonbully vineyard. The ancient limestone soils and cool climate provide the perfect conditions for ripening the variety to its full potential, whilst maintaining beautiful natural acidity. . We make two styles from our fruit. The Crayères Sauvignon Blanc is fermented and ages in 600L old French barrels. Lots of time on lees creates a style which is full bodied, textural and complex, in the manner of ...Bordeaux blanc. Our 'little sister' wine is the Down to Earth Sauvignon Blanc- 50% fermented in oak and 50% in stainless steel to introduce an element of the zippy, unmistakable freshness of the new world style. It was recently awarded 96 points by James Halliday, and for this week only it's 15% off on our website with the code SPRING15. https://terreaterre.com.au//2019-down-to-earth-sauvignon-/ See more

19.01.2022 Cabernet Sauvignon in our Crayères Vineyard in Wrattonbully looking wonderfully healthy this week. The vines seem excellently balanced this year in all varieties, with only one or two bunches per shoot, a perfect crop load for our close spaced vines.

19.01.2022 This amazing exhibition is in our local area for another week before it heads to the regions, see it if you can!

18.01.2022 Glossy and bright fruited, the oak a background choc milk contrast, the palate smooth, round and with a real bright red fruit resonance. Smart wine that will only unfurl more in bottle." - Andrew Graham, Australian Wine Review Our Crayères Cabernet Franc Shiraz blend is out now.

18.01.2022 We've had every kind of spring weather in the Piccadilly Valley this week, from torrential rain to sunshine and soft breezes. With a forecast 26 degrees and warm sunshine in the Adelaide Hills today and tomorrow, don't ask questions, just grab a bottle of rosé and make the most of it! We highly recommend @yukiinthehills for delicious Japanese food if you are planning to head for the hills this weekend!

15.01.2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz and Cabernet Franc Shiraz- for the first time, our 2018 releases from the Crayères Vineyard have been released as two distinct blends. The Cabernets bring structure, tannin, length and dark brooding fruit to the blends, in both cases enhanced by a sweet core of shiraz fruit. Try them both!

11.01.2022 * TOP 100 WINE* "Fermentation in used 600l demi-muids, then matured on full lees for eight months. The result is very complex, but the fruit is undaunted, with layers of lemon curd, citrus and a whisper of honey." 96 points - James Halliday Try the only Sauvignon Blanc to feature in James Halliday's Top 100 Wines of 2020 for yourself. Use the code TOP100 at checkout to receive 10% off your order until December 5th. https://terreaterre.com.au//2019-terre-a-terre-sauvignon-/

11.01.2022 wonderful news for our DAOSA Blanc de Blancs. Congratulations to all our Adelaide Hills friends and neighbours!

06.01.2022 * CANCELLED * We regret to announce that due to the evolving COVID restrictions in South Australia we have cancelled the Piccadilly-Pick-a-Dozen event, scheduled for Sunday 29th November. We hope to be able to reschedule this event in the new year, but in the meantime it is most important that we all play our part in keeping our community safe and well. Look after one another, and we'll see everyone soon!

06.01.2022 Why the roses? Rose bushes planted at the end of each vineyard row are a common sight in wine regions all over the world. The often-cited reason is that they are an early indicator for powdery mildew- but the real reason is probably a combination of tradition, superstition and sentimentality. Either way, it's a reassuring sight in spring to see both vines and roses looking so wonderfully healthy!

05.01.2022 A great article about the success of our Adelaide Hills neighbours in the recent @decanterawards. @HahndorfHillWinery received the only gold medal awarded to a Grüner Veltliner in the show, despite stiff competition from top Austrian producers. And of course, our @daosasparkling Blanc de Blancs received the only platinum medal for sparkling in Australia, a great honour and a great recognition for the quality of @adelaidehillswineregion sparkling, backed up by several gold medals for @birdinhandwinery! Congratulations to all medal winners!
