If you have returned from China, Iran, Italy or South Korea, or have had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 but are well, you should self-isolate at home for 14 days and seek treatment only if you develop symptoms. If you have travelled overseas in the last 14 days and have cold/flu-like symptoms, or are a contact of a confirmed case call your GP or Healthdirect on 1800 022 222 Your doctor or Healthdirect will tell you if you need to be tested. You can call and book a COVID-19 test at Gosford on 4320 5055. The Wyong phone number will be published on Monday Remember, if you have any respiratory symptoms and do not meet the above testing criteria below and remain well, STAY AT HOME and look after yourselves until your symptoms have settled. If you have just returned from Overseas travel since midnight 15/3/2020 with or without symptoms, YOU MUST SELF ISOLATE for 14 Days. 15.01.2022 The Doctors, Nurses and staff at both Terrigal and Avoca Beach Medical Centres are committed to helping you through the many setbacks associated with the outbreak of COVID 19. It is this commitment that has seen us make some necessary changes to our practice to ensure we are preventing any spread of the virus. We have all of our Doctors available to see patients, or to participate in a telehealth consultation. Telehealth appointments can be offered to all patients. Please ask... about this option when you call to make an appointment. It is especially of use to the elderly, those with chronic disease, pregnant women, or children under 1. If you have symptoms of a cold, or respiratory illness, and would like a medical opinion, please call our practice. We have organised respiratory clinics on site at set times each day. We can organise a phone appointment, or a face to face review as needed. We are here to help meet your health needs. Please be reassured that we are still working hard to assist with all of your health needs, and will be open to do this both in the short and long term.

13.01.2022 COVID-19 is now a global pandemic. We are still in a watch and wait scenario on the Central Coast. Our general advice remains to keep up your vigilance with respiratory and hygiene precautions. We are hoping to be able to offer telehealth consultations in the coming days to assist with patients who meet the Government criteria for phone advice.
