16.01.2022 This wedding day get's me every time! Especially after this weekend <3. These two had a micro wedding similar to couples that have tied the knot recently. Sarah and Brendon still found a way to incorporate everyone that was unable to attend by using tech savvy friends and social platforms to live stream the ceremony. I love looking over this Cairns day! Even more so since we have had rain for the last few days. thank fully the clouds look like they are subsiding for now and... the blue sky is not too far away. 11.01.2022 Surrounded by the nurturing energy of her sisters, birth and soul, Karlea's Mother Blessing Ceremony over the weekend was the most incredible safe space for those close to her to be honoured and provide support for the journey of childbirth that she is one day soon going to embark on. Loved and nurtured by those in the circle, the beautifully soft Alisha facilitated a passionate connection between a group of loving women gifting their strength, encouragement and thoughtful e...nergy to Karlea. Such a beautiful intimate connection between women for this mother to be. Adorned with a sacred mandala created by Alisha, especially created and designed for Karlea moments before her ceremony. Alisha's process to create the mandala is unique to the experience that each woman has with her pregnancy journey. Spending time with Karela before the blessing to get to know about the months leading up to this time. What a gift! This was an incredible ceremony to witness and be included in. So much love your way gorgeous Mother to be! Please, if you are entering into Motherhood I encourage you to consider a Mothers blessing before the birth of your little one, you will leave the circle feeling loved, blessed and supported in so many ways by your sisters in life. 10.01.2022 Ok, so no one tell Benny this but before I was a dog person I was absolutely a cat person!!! So whenever I go somewhere and there is a cat and Benny is not around my heart melts on the outside. I usually keep it under wraps if Benny is around so he does not get jealous So on Thursday when visiting fellow creative Adam and his sweetheart Perrie to inspect his leather craft I meet this little sweetie. 09.01.2022 WOW, the last 24 hours have been incredible. A little chaotic with a panic pack, puppy drop (not literally, just a drop off) and a windy beautiful drive to my final destination for two days of knowledge and creative talk with a selection of pretty incredible humans representing @sonyaustralia. With the completion of day one I am heading into the second day of learning of the Sony Mirrorless Workshop here on the Sunshine Coast, staying at the incredible @spicersclovellyes...tate. Testing out new gear can always be a little tough and making the decision to invest even more challenging when the opportunity to play is limited. NOT ON THIS WORKSHOP! I have been lady handling a little beauty that I am pretty sure I am developing some strong feelings for, yes it could be the start of a beautiful relationship and I am not mad about it! The rad individuals hosting our workshop have provided a loan camera for the two day so that with the knowledge drops of technical and creative skill we have been able to gain the hands on experience we would need to make the investment in new equipment. 06.01.2022 Tez, I can’t tell you how much I’m in-love with those photos. You’ve captured the raw emotion of what we feel for each other and it makes me giddy every time I look at them. Maddy & Luke When pure goddess Maddy sent me a little message after I delivered one of my recent shoots I was elated to say the least. My goal is to achieve what I did that day with Maddy and Luke! As a creative I crave feedback that lets me know that the images I have created for couples are just what ...they have desired in a photographic shoot! I want to show people how they look at each other with total love, and care and absolute admiration! On the occasions that I have been able to facilitate the capturing of those memories I give myself a little high five. I’m slowly learning that if we are to champion others, we first need to champion ourselves and acknowledge that what we are doing has purpose and brings us incredible joy! How bloody lucky have I been in 2020 with all these incredible humans letting me hang with them! Thanks everyone! (BUT, let’s be real they bring the magic, I just hang about like a creep capturing it with my little mechanical friend in hand) I have quite a few favs from Maddy and Luke’s beach time! If anything it has been amplified! Photographing these two again and their two kids was an absolute pleasure! Sharelle and Grant I cannot believe that your wedding was was ten years ago. ...
