18.01.2022 Hard to believe It's the begining of September already - WOW 2020 is fading fast It also marks the start of spring for our southern friends and the 'Build up' here on the top end also known as Gurrulwa Guligi by the Larrakia (Gulumoerrgin) seaons. Gurulwa Guligi is "Big Wind Time". The foodplains are drying and the wind seems to come from all directions, with the northwest winds to blow by the end of this seasons' September close.... Freshwater mangrove fruit signify it is time to hunt Gakkingga (Magpie Goose ) and a time of feasting on the foodplains.
