The abattoir, 100 kilometres south of Darwin, has just gone through a multi-million dollar refurbishment by its new owner Central Agri Group. "A multi-species meatworks like this will be really good for the Northern Territory and complement the live export trade really well," said contract musterer Jed Fawcett. "And for the buffalo industry, this will be awesome."
