24.01.2022 The Flight Deck Presentation is a great way to get an introduction to the birdlife in the Top End. Occurring daily at 11am make sure you arrive early enough to catch this presentation!

24.01.2022 The Wallaby Muster is a great way to get up close and personal with the Top End’s native macropods. We have friendly agile wallabies and antilopine wallaroos which you can pat. Make sure you arrive early as this happens at 9:40am daily!

14.01.2022 The Pacific Baza or Crested Hawk (as it’s sometimes known) is a largely insect eating raptor. Raptors are birds that catch their prey with their feet. You can see Pacific Baza in the walk through aviaries of the Monsoon Forest at the Territory Wildlife Park.

As one of the largest native rodents in Australia, these cute characters need your help. If you plant native bush tucker plants in your garden and don’t use rat poison, you can help protect this special species.

12.01.2022 The bower bird's bower is often mistakably called a nest. It is in fact an elaborate stage designed to accentuate the male's courtship. After mating the female raises the young on her own in a nest of her own construction which is often well away from the male's bower.

03.01.2022 The Gamba Grass Action program will run from 30th November until the end of April 2021. The Territory Wildlife Park will again be dispensing herbicide to eligible landholders. Herbicide will be available between 9am and 2pm weekdays from the TWP Admissions. Please bring your license as proof of residence.
