21.01.2022 So it's a million degrees and aqua is on at culcairn pool tonight 7.30pm for only $5. We will run it for this week and next at this bargain price. After that I'm afraid it may not be held at all due to a dismal attendance. Thanks you to heather, olga, fran and Gloria who have supported Nicola who is driving from holbrook to both Henty and culcairn to hold these classes even if there is only 1 person. Very proud of her worth ethic for a 17 year old having a go. Nicola has 12 years of dance and acting experience so let's see if we can get behind her and have a crowd for the last few weeks.

20.01.2022 Wow it's hot. Only a few weeks left to the end of the season. Aqua at culcairn and Henty has finished. Thanks to everyone who supported this. 16.01.2022 As we go sliding to the plate with 21 days left of our 3 year 3 pool management with the GHSC we would like to shout out to some special people who have made our term fantastic. Firstly to ALL our staff...what an amazing job you have done. Particular mention to Melanie Wettern who keep me on my toes this year with times and dates for Henty pool. All our staff have worked tirelessly and we appreciate EVERYTHING you have given, small or large, it doesn't go unnoticed. Another h...uge, huge, huge thank you to Woofgang Dikkto who has been another Terry for us...helping unconditionally, you're are an amazing man and we are so grateful to have you not only in our business but particularly in our lives.To all "the other halves" who have supported our staff whilst they worked..THANK YOU..to our swimming teachers...thank you....especially for you help in implementing our new booking program...to our aqua teachers....thank you so much for being there...even when the numbers were low...your commitment is outstanding....to the swim clubs and schools, to the GHSC council.... Brenda Stephes from Pinpoint Grants and Tenders...To all the patrons that attend our pools and enjoy our facilities.....and consume mega tonnes of hot chips....thank you for your support....LASTLY to my AMAZING HUSBAND...Terry Melbourne who has kept this ship running and without his knowledge of pumps and stuff...that i know nothing about...it would have been a bit tricky...he must be the MOST AMESOME lifeguard EVER....its fun, safe and he loooovvvess every minute of it....from hiding money around the pool or in the water and then the kids finding it...and get to keep it.... or giving away ice creams and lollies for the best bomb or whoever can make to the end of the inflatable the quickest....so damn good. With my skills and his skills we run a darn good ship....thank you for all your support and kindness over the last 3 years and we will look forward to being at a new pool soon...take care out there xxxxxx Helen See more

14.01.2022 Sunday the 12th march is last day #holbrookswimmingpool will ever be the same. Even though we said the same thing last year. lol this year it really will be rebuilt. can we do all the celebrations again?? Kirsty Tepper we will need another cake please. Xx
