25.01.2022 WORLD PHARMACISTS DAY Binh has been a pharmacist for nearly 20 years. He began his internship in the western suburbs but found his way working in Gawler and teamed up with Michael Burdelof. After leaving Gawler for a short stint closer to home, Binh has returned to work with Michael again at Angle Vale. His pursuit to be a pharmacist stemmed from his passion to help people with their health needs. He loves the interaction with the customers and believes listening is the most ...important skill to connect with people on a personal level and to learn as a person. Binh is also accredited to perform Home Medicine Reviews where he can come out to your homes to help you manage your medications. This FREE service has become very important now with the isolation that some people feel during the COVID-19 pandemic. Outside of work, he enjoys spending his spare time with his young family, travelling and tasting cuisines from different cultures. 10.01.2022 WORLD PHARMACISTS DAY Michael Burdelof has been a Pharmacist at TerryWhite Chemmart Angle Vale since the pharmacy opened back in 2007. His special interest in Chemistry while studying at Trinity College led him to elect pharmacy as one of his work experience choices. During that work experience he witnessed how a pharmacist can help people and their families manage and improve their health and he realised this would be a very satisfying way to help make a difference in his community. Michael has a passion for helping his customers and their families manage and improve their health, particularly with preventative advice and natural health solutions. 05.01.2022 Tracey Jacobs began her pharmacy career with Michael and Binh as her preceptors in Gawler. She then moved on to manage the Hamley Bridge pharmacy for nearly 10 years before joining Binh and Michael again at Angle Vale in 2015. Growing up in a small country town on the Yorke Peninsula she enjoys the friendly country feel of Angle Vale. Attending high school in Kadina, Tracey was given the opportunity to do some work experience at her local pharmacy. With a keen interest in ch...emistry and cooking, pharmacy seemed to combine both interests (likening the compounding aspect to following recipes) . Tracey has a keen interest in wound treatment and asthma management. ‘I love the feeling I get when I’m genuinely able to help people’ In her spare time, Tracey looks after her young son and rides her horse as often as she can, training for eventing.
