Meeting the current national triage protocol criteria for suspected COVID-19 infection after consultation with either the national COVID-19 hotline, state COVID-19 hotlines, a registered medical or nursing practitioner or COVID-19 trained health clinic triage staff; or Aged over 70; or Identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and are aged over 50; or A patient with chronic health conditions or are immunocompromised; or Parents with new babies or people who are pregnant. You will be eligible for a telephone consultation directly with your doctor to reduce the exposure of COVID 19 to the vulnerable people in the community. 06.01.2022 Dear customers, There have been alot of questions directed at the pharmacy since a letter has been sent out by the Wakefield Council this week, therefore we feel that this post may answer some questions for you. Many have expressed concerns of there being 2 pharmacies in the town. We would like to advise you that if the sale of the land is approved that the existing pharmacy will be relocated to the new site located directly next to the medical centre where the current publ...ic toilets exist. New disabled public toilets will be built as per the council letter. Many customers have commented in the past that it is difficult to get into our shop with prams and mobility aids. We are hoping that with a purpose built shop adjacent to the medical centre that we can improve accessibility to our store. Additionally with a larger store we can have more space for our customers to wait comfortably for their prescriptions as well as have privacy for sensitive conversations. We believe that with a bigger store we will be able to offer a larger range of products and services so that we can better service the community.
