21.01.2022 Amnesty International and Airways have claimed that the coalition (involving the US, UK, and France) air strikes have killed more than 1,600 civilians in Raqqa, Syria. 04.01.2022 Amazon presents $3.6 billion dollars (US) in profit during the first quarter of 2019. The reason for the profit was the company’s advertising and cloud computing business which procured sales despite the slow growth. Further, sales at the company’s physical store grew about 1% from $4.26 billion to $4.3 billion as compared to the previous year. Amazon is working to offer free one-day shipping for company’s 100 million Prime members which requires investment worth $800 million dollars.

01.01.2022 Carlos Ghosn, former Nissan chairman, is facing charges in Japan for financial misconduct and aggravated breach of trust. The bail was granted at $4.5 million US dollars. The allegations include funneling money to a Nissan distributor through private accounts. Mr. Ghosn has previously paid $9 million US dollars as bail for understating remuneration and shifting personal losses to Nissan.
