01.01.2022 Carlos Ghosn, former Nissan chairman, is facing charges in Japan for financial misconduct and aggravated breach of trust. The bail was granted at $4.5 million US dollars. The allegations include funneling money to a Nissan distributor through private accounts. Mr. Ghosn has previously paid $9 million US dollars as bail for understating remuneration and shifting personal losses to Nissan.
