Here’s a little video of the first song I ever properly wrote - Jane - I wrote this on the back of a receipt while I was working behind a bar in Canberra, in the middle of winter. Randomm It’s about a really important person in my life and this song is about our connection and relationship which has helped shape who I am today. I travelled through a lot of emotional growth with this person and continue to do so throughout life, it’s about being vu...lnerable even when you’re looking pretty dark at times and still trusting love enough to show the person you love every part of you and vice verser and coming out the other end stronger and realising love has so many beautiful phasits and no limits to where it sits. Relationships that remain so beautiful aren’t always easy to find... I’m truly grateful! This song is about the raw side of love. Allowing people to see who you truly are is super important. So ‘Jane’ has always been for Simone and I can’t thank her enough for the journey we’ve been on and continue to share together. 15.01.2022 I’ve been a bit all over the shop lately... Just like everyone else really. I haven’t spent a lot of time on social media. I’ve been healing, getting a little lost, spending a lot of time in nature, playing live music with many amazing artists (it’s the first time I’ve ever properly jammed out with people) and I have a release coming out super soon. I’m just working out how to release it into your ears... it’s a pretty personal song. I’m a little nervous. (Tess being nerv...ous, it’s a funny sight) perhaps I will start sharing my life a little more than I have previously. Music is all about sharing after all.
