20.01.2022 Thanks Kimmi Katte for this helpful read. This goes for IBS sufferers too. Most people I see have what I call 'food anxiety' after so many failed attempts at restrictive diets to try and manage their symptoms. It's very damaging for your relationship with food (and yourself!) and it is part of the reason why the first thing I work on with many clients is broadening their food choices! ... Yes you read that right. I call it food freeeeeeeeeeeeedom Because no one should have to survive on chicken and broccoli or heaven forbid long term low fodmap. Don't get me wrong, sometimes you need to eliminate some problematic foods. But this should be TEMPORARY and you need to support yourself emotionally throughout this time because in the end I can lay out a treatment plan but you're the one who needs to implement it. I'll do a vlog on this soon once I am back from my social media break. See you soon
