17.01.2022 R2 or R5 ??? R2 Low Density Residential to R5 Large Lot Residential Have you received a letter from council about proposed changes to the Shoalhaven Local Envir...onmental Plan (LEP) 2014 ? Please take the time to understand how the change will affect your property. more information can be found at (www.shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au/MyCouncil/Publicexhibition). July 1 will see the introduction of the Low Rise Medium Density Housing Code which means, land that zoned R2 could be developed for dual occupancies, manor houses and terraces housing carried out under a fast-tracked complying development approval process. Happy days for those who wish to develop their land. Not so happy days for those who like to low density nature of the large lots they live on. By council changing the zoning to R5 the new housing code will not apply. I believe council is trying to protect the low density nature of the large lots by proposing this change to the zoning. You have to May 22 to make a submission in support or against the policy change.

12.01.2022 Love the progress on this addition in Berry. Sometimes site constraints create interesting design solutions. An angled addition it had to be due to a sewer line that we wanted to avoid. Andrew and team doing a great job @eco.projects. Happy client happy designer.
