I’m sorry to those who missed out... unfortunate...ly due to covid our numbers were limited. Stay tuned... we may have another one in the pipelines. On behalf of my whole family from Teta's Authentic Lebanese & Atlas Motor Body Works, we have to say a special thank you to MASHA MNJOYAN & Siranoush for gracing us with their beautiful voices, Salpi Markarian for generously donating a beautiful piece of art which we auctioned off, our guest speakers who are tirelessly working day and night to help in whatever way they can from here- my cousin Haig Kayserian, my former school principal Kaylar Michaelian & our friend Vaché Kahramanian. Lastly, thank you to a couple of our suppliers for donating their goods to make the night possible, Troy Momdjian for generously printing the booklets and flyers for us, my staff for all coming in on their day off and staying until midnight. Hence, why we are called Teta’s which means grandmas. Food is what brings us all together to enjoy and embrace someone else’s culture and to get an insight into their roots. We are proud Australians but we are also Armenians from Lebanon, which is why we can’t ignore the current situation in Armenia & Art...sakh. You will find Armenians all over the world due to a genocide diaspora. Armenia is currently being attacked by Azerbaijan who is backed by Turkey and there are many young soldiers and civilians losing their lives, including young children. The problem is no one is talking about it, including mainstream media. We are hurting and we need your help. I’m not asking for much and our intention is not to offend anybody but we just need to bring awareness and recognition to our cause so that just maybe these attacks can stop and our people can live in peace.
