22.01.2022 During Covid-19 I had some clients continue on, as their business hadn't been affected, and I had clients go on hold because their business virtually disappeared. I found that I was seeing stories of people helping others and for a while I thought what can I do to help during these challenging times. I'm not a health worker or a supermarket worker so I wasn't providing any essential services. I decided to start up a group to help past clients and friends who wanted to real...ly use the time to work on their business - in particular their message - because I know it's something that usually gets swept over in the flurry of day to day business activities and rarely gets the attention it needs to make your marketing really work. The group was called EMERGENCE - and its sole purpose was to help business owners emerge out of covid 19 stronger than they went in, and be ready for sales and growth (whenever that would be!). We worked on a total of 21 Aligned Actions, all designed specifically to help them get clear on their message, stand out from the crowd, get the attention of their Ideal Client and get more leads. 16.01.2022 It's time for a new obsession! My marathon memory came up in Facebook yesterday and it reminded me of the massive uplevel that occurred when running my marathon was the big hairy goal I set for myself that became a 6 month obsession. How good it feels to stretch.... The elation of getting through the really tough stuff (mentally and physically) How it adds so much energy and passion to life. So I’ve found my new obsession - a business challenge that I’m stepping up to a $50k Launch! Launches are an amazing way to serve business owners because there is so much massive value for free and I see their eyes light up when they see a way forward for them, their business, their families and their lifestyles. 15.01.2022 LEAP AND UPLEVEL! 05.01.2022 As we grow in our business we can get stuck on the EFFICIENCY rollercoaster. 'I can't get more clients until I get my processes sorted'. Let me give you a tip - there's no point having processes until you have clients.... Business owners spend weeks and months stalling their business growth because they want all their processes sorted. It doesn't work that way. It's just an excuse to avoid what your business really needs - marketing and sales. Your foot needs to be on the Growth Pedal every day to get more clients. Your processes can be updated along the way. The world doesn't stop for you to get your processes sorted. (Well it did during Covid-19 and who actually used that time to get organised?) The only way is to build in time each week to work on processes. It never ends so make it part of your admin for your business (or better still, hire someone else to do it when you're making a profit). Pick one process, set aside an hour, get started. Repeat. And shift the emphasis on your business to getting Visible and Mastering Sales. ......and let me tell you if you suddenly got 10 new clients how fast would you get that elusive process up and running? FAST! And instead of it taking weeks it would take minutes! Guaranteed! And would it have to be perfect? NO! So stop procrastinating over processes. Start learning how to get more clients.

05.01.2022 Big Idea's do come True! We are on our trip north in our beautiful boat, Clare, to escape winter and chase the whales, which we do every year. I am living my Big Idea.... To do what I love (mentoring you amazing women) from wherever I am in the world! And my very patient husband, Peter's Big Idea is to be on the boat as much as possible! It took us 15 years to get to this Big Idea but we did it! From full on management careers, being pulled in 1000 different directions all day every day, big hours, big stress, to a life now of freedom and flexibility and lots of 'water' time. It does come with it's challenges though. Internet can be an issue, and keeping up a sales flow from on the water can be, quite frankly, bloody hard. Last year I was neck deep in facebook ads and leads and sales calls (where I met a lot of amazing women and some of you here!), but I hit the wall. Even on a boat! Tons of leads, tons of sales calls, and sales just stopped. But...... that is all part of the FUN of business?????!!!!!! Remember That caused a big pivot in my business and I look back on that time now with gratitude because out of it has come some more amazing content and you are getting amazing results. That's exactly why I do this! And I'm still working on perfecting that every day and sharing everything I'm learning along the way with you all so you can do it too. Right now we are heading up past the Sunshine Coast for Double Island Point and I'm not sure what the internet will be like there overnight. So if I disappear this afternoon, I'll be back on line tomorrow before lunch as we'll be across the Wide Bay Bar (between Fraser Island and Rainbow Beach) and tucked away at Tin Can Bay where the internet is great! 03.01.2022 One morning after yoga about 2 years ago, I said to Helen Selmeczy, ‘let’s do an outdoor photo shoot!’. Then life got in the way. And I’m so glad it did....
