25.01.2022 TRAINING CANCELLED FOR ALL WDJRL CLUBS THIS WEEK As the WDJRL competition is not set to start until 28th March, all clubs have been advised that training is to be cancelled this week as a precautionary measure. This will be updated as further advice is received from QRL.

23.01.2022 Our club is looking for volunteers that are interested in training to be a first aid officer for our JRL club, if we get a few takers it would really share to load between the 3 clubs. The course is on the weekend of 28/29 March at Inglewood it’s a 2 day course but if you have current first aid you can apply for RPL. The club will pay for the course registration. 21.01.2022 PLEASE HELP SUPPORT YOUR LEAGUE Due to COVID-19 WDJRL had ordered all of the New Representative Jerseys and Clothing for the 2020 Chargers teams. As we have n...ot been able to have a Rep season this year, this has left our League in a sticky situation with now having to hold this over to the 2021 Rep Season. We need your help. It has caused our League to come into some financial difficulties. (please note: we don't wish to sell off this Rep gear, we need to keep it for 2021) We have been extremely lucky that your Clubs have assisted to allow us to stay afloat at this time. Although as a League we need to raise funds to see us through and pay back our commitment. We are intending on holding numerous money boards of where we are selling 100 board for $10 a ticket with the chance to win 1st Prize $300 2nd Prize $100. The remainder of this money will go directly into the WDJRL to ensure we can honor our commitments. The aim is to sell one Board fully draw this board and then continue to keep fundraising online whilst this is all happening. We need your assistance to help this happen. We do understand times are hard for a lot of people at the present time. If our Community& Clubs who plays in the WDJRL can share this and see how quick we can make this happen and generate some funds for the Leagues Future. If you would like to purchase a ticket or tickets, please send a message through messenger with the number you wish to purchase and your name. 05.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE FROM WDJRL & TJRL

04.01.2022 TEXAS JRL need your help!! We were unable to hold our AGM last week due to lack of attendees and without a new committee and new volunteers we can not have a club. We desperately need some people to put their hand up for committee positions. ... There will be changes made for 2021 which will see a new committee formed to form a MIT committee which will have representatives from all three towns (Millmerran, Inglewood & Texas). It is such a shame to see our club lacking volunteers as we have so many children interested in playing rugby league in our community. The AGM has been rescheduled and will be held at the Texas pool on Tuesday 24th November at 4:30pm, at which time a decision will be made in regards to the future of Texas JRL.
