23.01.2022 One of the highlights of this years TCMF for me, was getting the opportunity to perform and discuss the process of songwriting at Storyteller’s. Thanks to Nia and crew at the Almond Inn, and a huge shout out to Andrew Webster from Texas Strangers, who graciously gave up some of his much needed down time to come along and perform. Always fun with this guy

11.01.2022 Well that’s it for another great Tamworth Country Music Festival! We had an absolute ball wrapping up last night with a fantastic gig to another full house at Joe Maguires. Thanks to all our friends who have come out to support us throughout the Festival. We look forward to seeing you all next year!

07.01.2022 Today we said a very sad farewell to Alice Edmunds of Tamworth. Alice housed the Texas Strangers when we played at the TCMF. She called me Sonny and I called her Mumma, and we all loved her dearly. Our deepest condolences go out to Anthony Edmunds, Alison, and all Alice’s family and friends...Alice was such a special lady and we will forever miss her xxx R.I.P. Alice, See you when I see you xx

04.01.2022 TEXAS STRANGERS are sad to announce the passing of local violin player Kip Jansson. Kip added his talent to many of our tracks including, How Could You Do Me Like That?, Something’s Got To Change, River of Tears, Sometimes Angels, Tara’s Sun and Take Me Out To The Country. He was a great bloke and loved being around music of any kind. He was gracious, patient and funny. He loved our songs and he gave them his all. We’re all deeply shocked and saddened by his passing. Our deepest condolences are extended to all of his friends and family. His legacy lives on in these tracks, R.I.P. Kip old mate we will miss you x
