18.01.2022 Found this very handy vintage pattern today . My husband has a few great stories about Nanna-made underwear for all her grandsons. Nanna is now well into her 90s and no longer sewing - but I feel the great grandkids including my tween sons shouldnt miss out on this experience... 12.01.2022 What do you do with all the fabulous doilies and embroidery available out there when doily on the sideboard is not really your thing? Two of my very simple projects - the one in front I had made a very simple cushion with an Amy Butler fabric I loved - but it was a bit flat when finished. Add a butterfly doily with similar colours - perfect. The one in the back is a long rectangle shape with four of the little sandwich tray doilies on the front. #vintage... #vintagedoilies #vintagestyle #vintagesewing See more

09.01.2022 Do you love McKenna Ryan batik quilts? How could anyone not. They are just a gorgeous confection of animals, flowers, fruit and nature. So many fabrics, so much depth. I currently have two retired kits - all fabrics and all patterns - to make a McKenna Ryan quilt just the way she designed it. Both are on EBay - donated to raise money for charity.
