19.01.2022 Our reading period for the April 2020 edition closes 31 January. If you're working on a research article to do with creative and professional writing and processes, the teaching of writing and related issues, we'd love to hear from you. 18.01.2022 The reading period for scholarly articles for our October 2020 edition of TEXT has now closed. The submission period for the April 2021 edition will be 1 November 2020 through to 31 January 2021. We look forward to reading new work then.

16.01.2022 Congratulations to TEXT Journal author Rhett Davis, a PhD candidate at Deakin, who won the Unpublished Manuscript category in the 2020 Victorian Premier's Literary Awards this week.

12.01.2022 Congratulations to Maria Papas, whose work appeared in TEXT April 2020 edition, for her win at the TAG Hungerford award last night. Maria completed her PhD in creative writing at the University of Western Australia.
