24.01.2022 Hand shaped brows... Why you ask? Why not wax? Why not threading? We have been creating beautiful natural looking brows entirely by hand at texture and hue for over ten years now and still stand by our methods! Our brow specialist Sarah, who is a makeup artist by trade, sees brow shaping as correction and enhancement vs hair removal. ... Hand shaping the brows allows precision controlled removal of hair one by one assessing each and every hair, not a quick fix or rip, sometimes the process can take months to achieve the correct shape for your face, but we look at it from your facial structure and create the brows meant for your features and face shape. We like to create really natural, full brows, that don’t adhere to trend or a one size fits all shape. If you feel like your brows could be looked at from a different perspective to achieve a more tailored shape for you, we would love to meet you and work with you... it’s a process that you’ll be glad you started. 12.01.2022 Important covid19 update In accordance with SA Health regulations, face masks are now MANDATORY for all clients in our salon. Our staff are also required to wear masks. Another reminder that it is also mandatory that you attend your appointment alone. Please do... not bring any children or other persons with you to your appointment to help us adhere to social distancing requirements. All clients must Sanitize hands upon arrival, and must not attend if you have any associated symptoms whatsoever. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our space open and safe.

11.01.2022 Thanks so much to everyone who has been trying to make hair appointments, especially for the interest from new clients. At this stage we are fully booked past new year and not taking new clients at this stage. Krystal and Kylie are meticulous creatures, who give every head of hair all the love and attention to detail in the world. It’s no wonder they are booked solid. We are So fortunate to have such dedicated and talented stylists in our team. While it may mean that their books are full it also means that they will not budge on the quality of their work in order to fit in a higher volume of clientele. Which we are all about! When new spaces become available we will be sure to let you know... Thankyou for supporting our talented stylists xxx #barossaahairdresser #barossahairstylist #barossasalon #angastonsalon #angastonhairdresser

07.01.2022 Hi all Just wanted to pop in a few reminders about things we need to be doing to remain vigilant about our covid safe operations and some regular housekeeping for all to remember coming into our busiest time of the year. Thank you for taking the time to recap and help us to stay safe, open and functional for all clients and staff Xx

05.01.2022 Thanks for all the love, we are now fully booked for all services until the new year. If you have an appointment booked this year that you know you are unable to make please let us know ASAP as we do have a lengthy cancellation list of people desperate for appointments. Xmas is going to be big for us, so don’t forget Kylie likes bubbles, Krystal likes wine and Sarah likes gin to keep your favorite stylist going... (kidding!) Looking forward to seeing all booked in clients ...over the festive season... be prepared for an excess of assorted (and probably questionable) Christmas albums on repeat. Those who know us well know we love our festive season, and we love overdosing you all on Christmas cheer! Much love and thanks for your continued support! 03.01.2022 How often do you wash your makeup brushes? To our resident makeup artist & brow specialist Sarah, makeup brush washing may very well be the Bain of her existence especially during wedding season, washing brushes every time they are used, but just how often should you wash your OWN personal makeup brushes? Well here it is, brushes used for wet products such as concealer, foundation and eyeliner should be washed about twice a week while other brushes used for powder, blush ...and eyeshadow ideally should be washed weekly for daily makeup wearers... Why? Because clean brushes will give you a much nicer and more polished application and save your skin from unwanted bacteria and built up grime resulting in unwanted breakouts and congested skin. Wash your brushes, real or synthetic hairs, with a gentle shampoo, being mindful not to wet the handles or grind the bristles to keep those brushes serving you well for longer. Gently squeeze out any excess water & dry them laying FLAT with the bristles left open on the edge of the bench to fully dry out. Your skin and your makeup application will thank you for it... promise! #barossahairandmakeupartist #barossamakeupartist #barossasalon See more

01.01.2022 We are back, we are masked, and not that you can tell but we are smiling! Feeling very very fortunate that we can continue trading and continue servicing you all! SA health recommends clients of salons to wear masks at appointments since social distancing isn’t possible. If you don’t have one we have spares, and we thank you for helping us all stay safe well and open!!
