20.01.2022 No I'm not kidding at the end of your test you can park any way you like

18.01.2022 Yes we will be open for lessons from Wednesday 28th October!!!!! COVID safe practices with face masks mandatory and cars thoroughly disinfected between students. With restrictions on leaving home lifted parents can now take their learners out on the road so get back out there everyone. Our understanding with vicroads is that they will contact all those who had their licences cancelled to rebook and will start taking new bookings once they’ve worked through them. If you have v...alid reasons for an exemption it’s still worth applying to avoid a long wait for an appointment. VicRoads are opening pop up clinics with one planned in Cranbourne and could well be operating on extended opening hours. We’re doing our best to get back in contact with students we had to cancel but if we miss you or you’re new to us please give Ian a call on 0421 598 283 to book a time. Looking forward to seeing you all. Can you all share this with your friends to help get the message out there. Thanks Ian See more

14.01.2022 Ok this is new I've never done this face book thing before. FYI. Vic Rds has cancelled all drive tests till further notice due to Covid 19. I too will be suspending all lessons till things settle down. Even though I do disinfect the car after every student, I still cant guarantee your safety. As always I will continue to put the safety and well being of my students first. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have friends who are still driving with their instru...ctors please tell them to ask if their instructor is wiping down the door handles inside and out, the indicator stick, the windscreen wiper stick, the steering wheel, the rear vision mirror. the gear stick, the hand break and the seat belt with a disinfectant or 70% Ethanol after every student before they get in the car. DO NOT TAKE THIS THING LIGHTLY Please keep your selves healthy. I will see you all when things get back to normal. Ian Baker

13.01.2022 Just an update for those who may not have caught up with the latest information from VicRoads re licence testing ........ From tomorrow (Monday 15th June) they will begin testing for those who had already had their tests booked then cancelled. They will contact you and make appointments. Once the backlog has been cleared they will commence taking bookings again. Same provisions for hardship cases still apply if you need your licence or learners urgently. They are employing 200 more testers over the coming months and opening 6 new temporary testing sites to try to help clear the backlog so here's hoping it wont take too long. As we hear any new details we'll let you know. We're back to normal business now and hope to talk to you all soon.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone just an update re Vic roads and testing. Vic roads has posted on their web site information regarding exemptions for going for your drive test and other tests. These relate to hardship, work requirements, carers and family violence. It isn't going to be easy to get an exemption but it is worth a look to see if it applies to you. All drive tests relating to these exemptions will be undertaken in VICROADS managed vehicles. So you wont need a driving instructor on the day of the test, but if you need me to show you the test routes and parking please give me a call.THIS does not mean that I am restarting the school. This is ONLY for those people who have gained an exemption from Vic Roads. Please follow the link to the Vic Roads web site for all the information you require. https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/coronavirus LOVE IAN

10.01.2022 #fridayfunny This is what happens when you text and drive or in this case ride.

09.01.2022 Dear TFP community, In light of the present situation with COVID-19 we would like to reassure all students and their families that the cars are being disinfected between drives, using the appropriate materials, in order to minimise the spread of germs from student to student. Lessons will run as usual. As Is being advised by the health department, if you have flu like symptoms and have travelled overseas or have had contact with someone who has travelled take the necessary p...recautions and postpone your lesson. Just to repeat, the cars are being cleaned between each lesson and it is business as usual for TFP Driving School. The TFP family.

08.01.2022 Yes we are able to continue driving lessons. Latest VicRoads advice regarding driving lessons and licence testing under current Stage 3 restrictions is ..............".Driving lessons Supervised driving lessons can continue, including for those learner drivers living within metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire. Driving for practice is allowed with a driving instructor or a member of their household." ... While scheduled drive tests, hazards tests and learners tests have all been postponed once more, those for people with exemptions due to hardship and exceptional circumstances (including requiring a licence for work) are still able to go ahead. These can be done with a Driving Instructor car or your own car if it complies with their requirements. Please follow the link to the Vic Roads web site for information on exemptions. https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/coronavirus Exemptions are currently being processed fairly rapidly so this may be worth a look if you qualify. Our cars are all being thoroughly cleaned between students as per current health guidelines and face masks are provided. Of course we ask that if you are unwell that you contact us to postpone your appointment. Please call Ian on 0421 598 283 for any questions or to book in a lesson. Please like my page and share this information with your friends because we are getting a lot of queries about whether parents can take their kids driving and we need them out there getting experience. Ian
