18.01.2022 It is great to see how our onigiri campaign and donation have been contributing to the following program as well: TFT has been distributing food packs for distance learners. https://jp.tablefor2.org/files/report/TFTreport35.pdf... "Schools in the Philippines reopened in October, but instead of face-to-face classes in classrooms, they are using distance learning with online classes and self-learning materials. Prior to the closure of the school, Balaibai Primary School provided school meals for students who are malnourished. However, as many families have been affected by the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, the school has been distributing packets of food for all pupils. Pupils and their families are facing a number of challenges, with some parents having lost their jobs and fathers unable to return home due to restrictions on movement within the country."
