18.01.2022 With our Queensland borders now open to all states apart from Victoria, today marks 111 days since I last performed live music in public. However, I’ve been so lucky, over this time, to have dived into my CQUniversity MBA course over this time, keeping my mind not only active, but constantly learning new things to help invigorate and inspire me. But it has been the connection with people that I have missed so dearly. Performing has always allowed me be a small part of life’s ...special moments, whether it’s a bride and grooms wedding day, an award presented to a high achiever in their field, or the spontaneous joy of audiences from throughout the world. It is those connections that I’m most looking forward to again. The smiles, laughter and joy. The unique and instinctual responses of audiences. May today be the start of something wonderful again.
