22.01.2022 Wednesday Today we made colourful worms! Educators created the ‘worm’ by colouring in one side of a paper towel, wrapping it around a pencil and pushing together both ends to create a scrunched effect & then pulled it off the pencil. Educators then invited the children to gather around & use the water droppers to then wet the worms. The children were intrigued & so excited to watch the worms wiggles & reveal their colour! Try this at home Our day was full of singing, smiles, books & exploring

11.01.2022 Happy Wednesday Whilst playing outside the children took notice of a little lizard poking its head out to say hello from the garden. We were all excited pointing, clapping & sharing so much laughter. We extended on this by having insects and spiders in goop YAY ! Encouraging children to play will be a key part of formal early learning under the first curriculum changes to daycare in a decade.
