25.01.2022 Regional Development weekend for Leaders of the Golden West Region. Getting ready for a big 2016.

23.01.2022 This weekend we have the pleasure of hosting a Scouts Basic Leadership Course. We have 24 Scouts with the assistance of two Venturers from across TGW participating. Besides a little cold everyone seems to be enjoying themselves.

17.01.2022 Yesterday was Founders Day for the Scouting movement. For Scouts Australia February 22nd is the birthday of Robert Baden-Powell: the founder of the worldwide Sc...outing movement. I was lucky enough to be presented with a new scarf that's been launched by Scouts Australia NSW. Scouts are a great organisation and they give so much back to our young people and our community. That's why I was so proud earlier this year to hand over $47,300 to Camp Canobolas for work on their facilities.

17.01.2022 We are very excited about this weekend. We have over 80 members, including youth & adults, here this weekend taking part in the New Youth Program Training. 17.01.2022 Tents & Cubs Galore. We have 170 Scouting members here, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders & Adult Helpers. All in the name of TGW’s Cub Oonai. Looking forward to a great weekend.

13.01.2022 Today we are hosting the second New Youth Program upskill course which will see 95% of The Golden West Region on the NYP. It’s awesome to see the youth training the youth.

12.01.2022 The Scouts have had a busy day and are out planning their Wide Game while their camp oven stew dinner is cooking.

06.01.2022 It was a huge first day yesterday for TGW Cub Oonai. Having 180 people here on our campsite is a breeze & we could easily handle twice that number. One of the many activities we have here on site is the Flying Fox. If the smile In the kids faces don’t tell the picture, we aren’t sure what else will.
