At this uncertain time we feel that it is more important than ever to recognise and acknowledge Australias volunteers. The dates for National Volunteer Week 2020 are Monday 18 May Sunday 24 May 2020 with the theme Changing Communities. Changing Lives.

07.01.2022 Admissions open for Thaai Tamil School 2020 Our Tamil community is growing rapidly day by day in and around Brisbane and people are aware of Thaai Tamil school if not here are the details, Thaai Tamil School ( TTS) is been functioning for more than 8 years and it is run by group of volunteers. It has 3 branches with 250 students from Prep to Year 9. The school runs every Saturday 2:30 Pm to 5:15 Pm. This year school starts on 1st Feb 2020 and admission is open for all the cl...asses in all the branches. The admission is open for children 5 year old and above. As parents, its our duty to transmit the Mother tongue to the next generation! Please bring your kids to learn our tamil language/culture and to establish community network. 03.01.2022 In our latest response to the COVID19 Corona virus pandemic, as a safety measure, we are planning to shut down our Tamil classes for the next 2 weeks (21-3-2020 and 28-3-2020) in all campus. As a result, Term 1 exam will be postponed to next term. The respective Class coordinators will plan the exam in term 2. No more Tamil classes for term 1. Please make sure that your kids study their test syllabus regularly. This will help us to go bit faster in term 2. Term 2 starts on 25th April 2020.

I loved seeing their updates on social media throughout this pandemic and the way they helped keep us all connected.
