23.01.2022 I have 2 e-mails that signed up for our Thai Delish mail outs that I just could not work out the correct wording for their e-mails for. Lucky for me it was not one of these 2 that won the $30 gift voucher draw we had. The chances of finding these 2 persons on facebook is very slim I imagine but worth the challenge. I have just re-done a mail out one at a time to attempt by-pass of the junk mail folders. That is why the 2 incorrect e-mail addresses haunts me once again. In order to protect personal information and names if you signed up at the form in the restaurant and the first 4 letters of your e-mail address is exactly or something like "waic" or "immm" then please e-mail me at [email protected] with the subject line "Its ME" and I will e-mail you our pre-Xmas offer. Thank you.

22.01.2022 It was great to see one of our VIP customers take advantage last night of the e-mail offer that we sent out yesterday. They used the dine in offer and the instant response is very appreciated by us. I know of 2 hotmail addresses that went straight to the junk folder & unfortunately that can cause a lot of people to not even know about the offer. Looking forward to seeing many more saying the magic words. Anybody who now signs up via [email protected] I will send them a copy of the offer as unfortunately I do not get notified of web page sign ups. Hope you all have a great day.

19.01.2022 Thai Food is a very healthy food. Stir Fries are cooked quickly and lightly at high heat and we do not pre-cook or blanch or soak the meat and vegies. The lightly cooked at high heat therefore locks in the nutrition. In the curries coconut oil is the richest source of Medium Chain Triglycerides. Apart from Mothers Milk, coconut oil is the richest is natures most abundant source of lauric acid and medium chain fatty acids. More heatlhy tips coming tomorrow.

12.01.2022 In part 2 of why Thai Food is a healthy alternative when not cooking at home, the dishes have fresh vegetables, seafood or prime cut lean meat. Various dishes has different ingredients. Here are some. Ginger and its relative Galanal: Helps reduce cholesterol and repairs certain types of cells damaged by pollutants and chemical toxins. Chilli: (mild medium or hot).... A great source of vitamim C, increases metabolic rate and helps fight colds and flu. Coriander: Rich in volatile oils and helps relieve minor digestive troubles. Basil: Rich in anti-oxidants and a great source of Vit A, C and Foliate. Lemon Grass: Cymbopogon citrus helps treat indigestion, colic, flatulence, arthritic pain and fevers and is a muscle relaxant for stomach and intestine cramping. Lime Kaffir: The aroma of a fresh crushed leaf is very special and energises with a feeling of well being. Garlic: Contains compounds that help reduce cholesterol. 12.01.2022 Dear Customers. I will try to keep you informed what is happening with Thai Delish. Im not very good with facebook but I will try to update to all. In the past few months we have expanded our shop. We took the back part of the restaurant. Turned it into bigger dining room and our front under cover restaurant still available for dining. We are now licenced. We allow BYO wine only with $5.00 corkage per bottle. We do charge for cake plate $5.00 per table. Our restaurant also suitable for any function the dinning room could carry over 40-50 peoples. We also do take away. Please come along to joinin our authentic thai food. I guarantee that you wont be dissapoint. And now we open Saturday for lunch. Lunch specials also available

05.01.2022 Continuing on with why Thai Delish food is so good for you, we offer wholesome food for persons seeking a specialty diet such as Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan. We know that there are restaurants that exist where they treat such requests with a big smile and then they go and cook it exactly the same as any other dish. This is quite possibly partly because they do not know which is which and what it all means. At Thai Delish we do not do that. We do need to do a new menu wi...th the symbols GF etc on it. That will come soon we hope as these cannot be done for all dishes. It takes a lot of skill as a chef to do these various dishes and make them tasty. Otherwise it can all come out bland and the same taste. We also buy, at a premium cost to us, the sauces that are GF, for example. Vegetarian is the easiest as it is no meat. Vegan is a lot harder as it means cant use fish sauce, or oyster sauce, etc etc. No animal or fish product at all. Gluten Free is tricky as gluten is in so many products and sauces these days. But we are honest and sincere in ensuring that we deliver what we say we will. There is the one exception and that is I dont know if anyone can be allergic to gluten like with something like peanuts, for example. A pinch of chicken stock, may, for example, have a few molecules of gluten in it, without us knowing. I am sure our Gluten Free customers appreciate and understand this. We look forward to serving customers who we know have a problem of where to go to get their dietary needs looked after properly and still tasty. We are here to service such needs.

04.01.2022 We have been able to re-open for lunch since Monday. We are very sorry about the inconvenience but are pleased to now let you know that we are back doing lunch 11:00 am till 2:00pm Monday to Saturday. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Hopefully there are people lining up t get together for their Xmas lunch functions. We look forward to seeing you there.

04.01.2022 Once again Fathers Day is fast approaching and will be on Sunday the 6th of September. We will be open for dinner from 4:30. Bookings are appreciated. We now have a website and we are collecting e-mail addresses in store so that we start e-mailing out special offers and interesting titbits.

02.01.2022 Good Morning. Again I have to apologize to all. The local Library has a class on facebook at the end of this month and hopefully I will a lot better genned in on the subject than I am now. I meant to post this a couple of weeks ago and thankfully a customer let us know last night what I had forgotten. Thai Delish is closed for lunches until further notice. We sincerely apologise for that but things happened that we were not expecting. Hopefully this does not cause too much inconvenience and everything is fine and unaffected regarding our night time trading. Thank you for your continued support. Ian
