22.01.2022 Thai-Ties Cultural Program Day 6: We started early in morning at a local market where the kids saw the atmosphere and tasted a variety of local food from local villagers. After that we went to say goodbye the students and teachers at the school. Then we went down from the mountain to see many places such as, Green Tea plantation called Choui Fong , the a famous Tham Luang cave, the Golden Triangle, and the old temple built during a period of Chiang Saen era, Wat Prathan Pa Ngao which was once the old capital of Lanna Kingdom around 800 years ago. The kids have learnt alot about history, culture, way of life of people in the North.

19.01.2022 A group photo from different places where we went to visiting both were taken with an officers of the government places such as Thai Government House, The Australian Embassy, Chao Sam Phraya Museum, Siam Niramit, Wat Rai-Chern-Ta-Wan, Third Thai School and also the private visiting. The other places we had the private visiting were the Grand Palace, Dawn Temple, Pho Temple, Wat Phra-Sri-San-Pet, Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, Wat Chai-Wattanaram, Wat Ka-Khaow and Wat Ka-Dam, Doi-Tung Palace, Wat Rong-Sure-Ten. Luang Cave, Golden Triangle and Wat Pa-Ngao. Some of all places above we got a very warm welcome and we got an opportunity to learn the different things. Thank you all people and places who and where were warming welcome us.

16.01.2022 Day 7: Our group had the last day in Chaingrai and we started by visiting Doi Tung Palace. We appreciated to know the story of the mother of two Kings of Thailand, King Rama 8 and Great King Rama 9, Srinagarindra - Princess Mother of Thailand. Her place showed us how she helped the group of poor people and protect the forest in this area. After that we visited the blue temple before flying to Bangkok and home to Melbourne.

03.01.2022 The successful closing meeting of Thai-Ties 2017/2019. Students who participated in the program from 2017 and 2019 shared their experience. We hope the program will continue in the future under support from Royal Thai Embassy of Australia, Royal Thai Consulate of Melbourne and also the Thai community in Victoria.
