25.01.2022 Demand is high. Serious buyer activity increased across all states and territories last week, with the greatest increases in Australian Capital Territory (9.1%) and New South Wales (7.7%) while the smallest increases were in Western Australia (1.6%) and Tasmania (2.4%). New South Wales had seen the Index fall over the past two weeks, however, it is now 5.8 per cent higher than its previous peak. In fact, Tasmania and Northern Territory are the only states and territories in w...hich serious buyer interactions didnt hit historic highs last week. Since the low point 11 weeks ago, the volume of high-intent activity has risen in all states and territories, with the largest increases in Western Australia (132.9%) and Queensland (127.6%).
