12.01.2022 BIRTH PLAN I love chatting about birth and positive birth outcomes. If you ever got me going on this topic you know the passion is hard to stop there. BIRTH planning is not about having limitations for me it's about intention and empowerment a chance to discuss different case senarios and explore how the woman would want to respond or be looked after in these cases.... This year my insights were of self growth, letting go of the past, trusting my gut, and really stepping into my own.... 02.01.2022 * YOU WILL SEE MY ACTUAL REAL & RAW BIRTH OF MY BABY AND IMAGES THAT RELATE TO THIS SPACE * I have been seeing quite a few pregnant women lately who are getting their body and mind ready for the birth of their bubs. This makes me remember the beautiful births of my daughters. I love speaking to women about birth and exploring the curiosity of this mystery. If I could go through birth and labour again I would, even the unknown, even the stretching, the crowning, the first few... days after, even the cracked nipples...ok maybe not the cracked nipples. I love the resilience and strength and flexibility of the woman's design of the birthing process. Speaking to women about birth is really close to my heart, if I can empower one woman to have more confidence, more self belief to achieve the birth outcomes they desire it would make me so happy. When I chose my birth team, I chose them specifically because of the way they made me feel. I knew them very well before hand and they knew me. They had a certain energy and I could feel their presence. I knew they had no particle of doubt in their mind in my ability to birth my babies and they celebrated me the whole way. Two years ago I gave birth to my daughter at home, her sister helped welcome her in to this world. This moment in time is so dear to me and I am forever grateful to my husband and my birth team and I am grateful for my daughters for being my people and supporting this beautiful process that we as women are designed to make possible. Today I am sharing a part of the story with you. Thank you Lacey Barratt for capturing this memory. This is for the women who are getting ready for birth in body and mind, this is to let you know that you can and you are strong and it is possible.
