25.01.2022 It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye... That Kiwi Place owner and operator Arlaina and her parents Esther and George welcomed a beautiful baby boy Manaia on Mother’s Day this year and we as a whanau, have decided that ‘family first’ will be our motto moving into 2021... This means that sadly we will be closing. We would like to thank each and everyone of you that, came to our amazing opening and continued to support our beautif...ul whare kai all these years. Something that started off as just a simple vision, thrived for 7 years and turned out to be more than just a fish and chip shop but also a safe place for whanau and the wider community to come and connect. At this stage That Kiwi Place will be under new management as of 1 January 2021. However, we are unsure what this will look like and wish the new owners all the best. The South Australian government have just announced that South Australia will go into a full lockdown lockdown from midnight tonight for the next 6 days following recent outbreak of COVID 19. Sadly this includes That Kiwi Place. We will offer extended hours until 9 pm tonight to allow for anyone to get their stores and other things that they may have been wanting to get over the weekend. Please call ahead if you are going to be later than 9 pm and we will see if we can remain open for you... until then be safe everyone, look after each other, check in with each other and love each other.
