For the girls it was a great place to get ready and have some chilled out time together before the ceremony and reception. 11.01.2022 Beauty tip no 2: brows There are many different ways to do your brows and different techniques. Here is a breakdown of what I do ranging from quickest method feathering individual hair strokes ... 1. Quickest method: Use a volume brow gel to define existing brows, build volume, deepen colour (great for covering stray grey hairs!!), creates appearance of more hairs especially if you do a few layers with the gel! My loves: @benefitaustralia gimmebrow + volumizing eyebrow gel @hourglasscosmetics arch brow volumizing fiber gel 2. If you have 30 seconds more: Go in with a pomade to give more colour and build density - you can really shape the brow and create a full brow look with this. If you use a fine brow brush you can create the look of individual hairs. Bonus! (Secret tip : start with step 1 (gel) and then go over with a pomade - as the gel dries it sets the pomade and makes your brows last all day!! Great for oily skin types and those whose brows seem to disappear over the course of the day!) My loves: @billiondollarbrows brow butter pomade @anastasiabeverlyhills dipbrow pomade 3. If you have 2 mins To be used on its own or in combo with a setting gel/powder using a brow pencil or liquid brow liner can help you to really draw and define your brows. Great for someone that doesn’t have a lot of hairs and you can create really natural looking brows by feathering your strokes. I like a fine tip so you can either draw on individuals or shade in some colour/volume. 10.01.2022 Firstly, this isn’t a post about eyelash serums (although you should definitely try them if you are happy to invest in some + - they really do work!) This is an instant tip that doesn’t take weeks or months to see results! The trick to getting thicker looking lashes is to darken the lash line as well as thickening the lashes with a few coats of mascara. ... 1. Use a gel eyeliner or eye pencil to smudge along the top eyelid close as possible to your lash line. Really wiggle it in there! 2. Smudge it with a fine liner brush or smudge brush to soften the line 3. For intensity use a liquid liner on top (waterproof is even better so it doesn’t wear off during the day! 4. Apply 2-3 coats of mascara leaving it a minute before applying each coat (by drying the layer first you end up applying the next coat on top rather than brushing the mascara out that you just applied) My favs: @shiseido microliner ink @hourglasscosmetics mechanical gel eyeliner @urbandecaycosmetics 24/7 glide on eye pencil @narsissist eyeliner @toofaced better than sex mascara @hourglasscosmetics caution mascara Have you tried any of these tips to thicken your lash line?
