24.01.2022 WOO HOOO! WORKSHOPS ARE BACK TOMMOROW NIGHT! Apologies for not informing you earlier, with how quickly things were changing I wanted to make sure that it was set in concrete before I passed the good news on I have received yet another updated Covid plan which we will follow as we have been the whole time, its back to the one person per 4 square metre rule, with 1.5 m social distancing, which means everything will be exactly the same as it has been, as I did not chang...e to the 2 m spacing rule when we were allowed, I kept it at the original 4 metres for your extra added safety Obviously we will be continuing with the standard hand sanitizing on entry and exit, Hand wash and paper towel are provided to keep your hands squeaky clean. You were already all doing a fabulous job so let's keep it up so that we can keep on creating beautiful mosaics. Now more than ever practicing self-care and doing something that soothes your soul is of upmost Importance As you know I took your bookings last week for this week's workshops, I will be using those bookings for numbers this week so if you need to cancel or would like to book in for this week can you please do so ASAP so I can keep a close on the numbers. Thank you for everybody's understanding in these crazy times! I appreciate every single one of you and the messages of support that I have received. I'm looking forward to seeing you all this week so we can get our mosaic on! 23.01.2022 Good morning workshoppers! Just letting you know that I received my new Covid safe plan and mandatory QR code yesterday afternoon so as of this morning's workshop , we will be replacing the manual contact tracing sheet with checking in with the new app. I understand that this may be a little daunting for some, don't feel alone because it is for me too! I am here to help you with any hiccups but I am sure as with everything we will work it out PS: please do not be concer...ned if you are unable to check in with the new system (for example you do not have a smartphone etc) As in cases such as this I am still able to check you in manually if necessary. 23.01.2022 Hello beautiful workshoppers Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my lil sidekick and best little mate ever, my beautiful Vinnie I'm still very upset so I am taking tonight off for some self care...workshops are still on as per normal, Jayne who helps me out in times like these will be filling in for me tonight, She is a very competent mosaicist, and will be able to help you with all of your questions and needs. Tomorrow's and Wednesday nights workshops will be as normal, I... will be back to work tommorow morning . It's been brought to my attention that a couple of you have had trouble purchasing tickets from the link on my face book page, for some it comes up with 'error" when trying to complete payment, I am working with Eventbrite now to fix the problem, in the meantime, if this happens to you, head directly to www.eventbrite.com.au and search "mosaic" and purchase direct from there, it will work that way, let me know if you have any problems :)

20.01.2022 Hi all, I'm a little late posting this but I figure it's better late than never! Last week I grouted the year 7's mosaic for 2020! These kids never cease to amaze me with how good they are at mosaicing, the theme was "Aquatics" this year and I think it has come up a treat! Well done guys!

20.01.2022 Happy sunny day everyone! This post is a little late but I wanted to wait until after Father's Day to make sure that I wasn't giving sneak Peaks of gifts to any dad's before the day! We had a lot of fun creating them and they turned out fab! Keira's "love" mosaic colours were inspired by one of her Dad's fave V8 Supercar drivers, Those of you who know me well would know that I had to bite my tongue off during that one lol hahaha I tried to convince her to do Red Bull co...lours but she stayed strong I love watching kids create, their imaginations are awesome I will be posting more dates shortly for a couple of kids workshops coming up soon, keep your eyes peeled K8 xx See more

19.01.2022 When coming up with an idea for my sign I thought I would do a different colour for every letter and just use odds and ends that I need to use up, clearly I'm just sticking anything that fills up space now lol

16.01.2022 Hello workshoppers, just an update to let you know that workshops are still on, Yipee!!!! We will continue on as normal, if anything changes I will let you know, so let's keep up all the good work with the Covid 19 procecdures already in place, hand sanitizer social distancing, contact tracing etc, you all know the drill and I thankyou for how awesome you have all been at sticking to the restrictions thus far and we will continue to do our absolute best in the current situation :) Let's keep creating while we can, it's great for the mind and an excellent distraction from the craziness! 10.01.2022 After a jam packed week we finished off last night with the very popular "dragonfly workshop." I will always enjoy watching all the different ideas that you all come up with This was the perfect session for beginners using all pre cut pieces and a very relaxed approach, it sold out within a couple of hours and I'm still getting enquiries, unfortunately I can't source anymore of the metal dragonflies so I'm implementing plan B, I'm busy with community projects for the next few weeks but this workshop will return asap, watch this space Cheers K8

07.01.2022 *** MOSAIC WORKSHOP INFORMATION AND TIMES**** MONDAY 6:30pm - 8:30pm TUESDAY 9:30am - 11:30am and 12:30pm - 2:30pm WEDNESDAY 10:00am - 12:00pm and 6:30pm - 8:30pm Come and learn to mosaic in a friendly, fun filled, supportive atomosphere, you will learn to make your very own mosaic art piece of your choice! It is extremely therapeutic also so come and unwind and let your creative juices flow :)... Workshops run on a weekly basis and are very flexible, bookings are taken weekly so you are not locked into having to come every week :) On your first session a $15 deposit is payable, it is totally refundable on your last mosaic session, If you book in for a session and cancel at less than 12 hours notice, you lose your deposit.
