20.01.2022 During the lightning storms, you can protect your electronic equipment by unplugging it from the wall sockets for power and phone lines. Your modem can be damaged by lightning strikes that travel along phone lines. Make sure your back up drives are unplugged from the power and your computer. Power boards with surge protection can be overwhelmed by close by lightning strikes as well so unplug them too.
