25.01.2022 Today we mourn the passing of a member of the shed family. After 12 years of service he has come to a .. grinding halt. He was a bit of a tool, but he will be missed.

24.01.2022 Scrap project time! I Built this end table with a friend of mine using nothing but scraps laying around the shop. As we were going for a rougher rustic style it was a perfect opportunity to make use of them.

20.01.2022 The problem with renting a house is quite often you cant modify things to the extent you would like. Last weekend I made this extension for the workbench I wasnt allowed to modify. It lifts right off plus gives me a great accessible work space. My main goal was to use stuff I already had laying around which is why the benchtop isnt a single piece of ply.

18.01.2022 Please note: these pictures are not mine. (Apart from the jewelry box). They are merely to convey the direction i hope to go in. All will be replaced as my collection of creations grows. Stay tuned!!

18.01.2022 Thinking about having a go at making something like this. Would you put one in your garden?

Here’s a couple shop organisation jobs I’ve done plus a few projects that are in progress. Don’t forget if you would like anything particular made let me know and I’ll do my best to make it happen. ... Check picture descriptions for details.

16.01.2022 Trying to sort out the disaster that is the new shop. So Im beginning by making a caddy for my compressor! Its so low to the ground i cant easily move it and I really need something mobile to cart the retracting hose and guns around. Lets hope it works out! :D Stay tuned for the build progress.

14.01.2022 Grenade Stool/ Side Table So excited to make this!! This is a scale model that i made in SketchUp. Colours are just for decoration. I havent decided whether I wood prefer varnished timber or paint yet.

13.01.2022 While I was fiddling around re-building my half size electric tonight, Esther decided to build this lovely (pun intended) set of candle holders!

13.01.2022 Im not a fan of plastic chopping boards! So after finally sorting through the pile of second hand timber JP was kind enough to give me, I decided to make my own. Pretty happy with the results. Check the pictures for the build process.

12.01.2022 Im so happy with how this has came out! Im hoping to make a few more over the next week or so. Its a great height for a stool or a side table. It was going to be a shop stool for me but I think Ill make another as a side table in the lounge. If you are interested in buying one of these feel free to contact me. They are $120ea varnished and are 585mm high. Its times like these I wish I had a CNC machine!
