24.01.2022 QR CODE REGISTRATIONS - Begin Tuesday 1st December 2020 As many of you would already be aware, the Premier announced QR Codes will be introduced into licensed venues, including Clubs on Tuesday 1st December 2020. Thaxted Park Golf Club has been sent a unique QR Code via our updated COVID Safe Plan to assist with contact tracing. The Code will be copied and distributed around the Club.... Checking in is quick and easy: 1. Download or log in to the free mySA GOV app 2. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera 3. Enter your name and phone number 4. Follow the prompts 5. Done - your checked in There will also be a process whereby a member/visitor can prove that they have registered. If you do not have a smartphone you will be required to complete paperwork provided by the club. We thank members and visitors in advance for their cooperation. Allen Guyett Club Manager

21.01.2022 Thaxted Park Golf Club would like to congratulate our Professional Cody Sherratt on winning the SA PGA Club Professional of the Year for the second year running at GolfSA annual awards, an outstanding achievement! It’s a great reward for Cody’s hard work and dedication and his focus on the Junior Academy, MyGolf, Ladies and SAAGA golf clinics. All brilliant programs which he oversees. We’re incredibly proud of Cody and all of his staff!... Well done Cody!!!

12.01.2022 Due to heavy demand, we have temporarily ceased firewood sales whilst we replenish our stock levels. We'll keep you updated when more firewood becomes available for sale in the next couple of weeks! *Mulch is still available for $25 per 6 x 4 trailer load. Thank you to everyone who has purchased firewood & mulch from the club over the last couple of months.

08.01.2022 Today the Premier announced that from Midnight Saturday the 21st of November, the Stay-at-Home directive will be lifted, and restrictions will revert to a level similar to those implemented on Tuesday the 17th of November. While the full directive is yet to be published, we anticipate that the public activity direction will allow for a return to golf from this Sunday. The Proshop will be open from 6 am on Sunday for bookings on 8325 1636.... Looking forward to seeing you all back at the club soon.

Thaxted Park Golf Club's facility (including the golf course, proshop, practice facilities and clubhouse) are closed from 11:59pm Wednesday 18th November for the following 6 days. 04.01.2022 TPGC Senior Pennant team. (Harry, Peter, Peter, Paul, Daryl, Bob & Dave) The team performed gallantly in the first round of Senior Pennants against Royal Adelaide at Blackwood Golf Club on Monday. Unfortunately going down 4 matches to 3. Better luck next time

01.01.2022 COVID-19 Update Sunday 29th November 2020 Following the Premier's announcement on Friday 27th November 2020, the easing of some restrictions will take effect from Tuesday 1st December 2020 and will stay in place for 2 weeks before the next review. Below is an update on operations at Thaxted Park Golf Club:... Golf: - Club competitions will resume from Tuesday 1st December Hospitality: - Indoor density remains at one person per 4 sqm, all food and beverage (including alcohol) must be consumed whilst seated. - Outdoor density will change to one person per 2 sqm, food and beverages (including alcohol) can be consumed whilst standing. The Club's COVID-19 Safe Plan will be updated and QR Code registrations will begin on Tuesday 1st December. Please ensure you continue to: - Maintain the 1.5-metre distancing rule - Use hand sanitiser provided - Stay at home if you feel unwell and get tested - Masks are not mandatory but are encouraged Allen Guyett Club Manager
