24.01.2022 A first for Bake Boss, I’m happy to announce we are doing a collaboration with Delish Cakes By Tracey at our Morayfield store, we will have 6 packs of delish cup cakes to take away from 9am tomorrow, baked fresh every night until Close of business Saturday. Check out the yummy mix, 2 of these each, 6 in total for $30. Choc mud with vanilla Swiss meringue with Oreos, strawberry Oreo (pink) red velvet Oreo (red) & original Oreo White mud, peanut butter Swiss meringue buttercre...am with Reese choc cup Caramel mud, vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream with mars bar Call the store if you want to reserve yours, they will sell out fast.

21.01.2022 Morning all, over the last few years we’ve been distributing the wonderful product from PASTALINE used to sheet fondant. We will continue to do so but we understand in the current economical climate it’s an expensive piece of equipment to invest in. We have had a lot of great feedback from clients, especially those whom make larger numbers of cakes that have been exposed to damage of their hands/wrists due to repetitive stress rolling out fondant. I have come up with a plan ...to reduce the cost of the unit making it more accessible whilst limiting our own exposure to purchasing in excess stock that might be harder to move during a pandemic. The dollar is stronger and I have been able to negotiate with the manufacturer to bring the costs down, if we can obtain enough orders we can ‘one off’ reduce the sell price to $1800 plus gst, normally we sell this for around $2800 hence around a $800 saving. If you would like one, it’s a $500 deposit, to secure your unit please contact your local store to place the order. I estimate they will arrive late October. See more

We have had an absolute blast with all of you. While we are excited about our new adventures, we are sad to say goodbye to you all. I hope to see many of you around town. And to my mum..... I feel lucky to have been able to work as a team with you over the last 10 years. There arent many daughters who get the opportunity to see their mum every day. Im going to miss working together - although Im sure you wont miss me while youre having fun being a grey nomad! THANK YOU AGAIN EVERYONE

16.01.2022 Hi everyone, weve trialled a few couriers locally but havent been able to find a reliable connection. Everything has normally been sent from Sydney previously and this will continue to be our main distribution hub however a new opportunity presents brisbane to brisbane/ Gold Coast is 100% overnight and sunny coast I am told is no worse case than 48hrs. I believe it will be faster so Id like to test this out whilst providing localised jobs and hopefully fastest - cheaper... service. Im on deck the next 2 days to turn your orders around with our team. If youd like free freight for orders over $30 please use LOVEQLD as a coupon for free freight. Obviously would love to see you in any of our stores however here is a potentially free option. 16.01.2022 BIG NEWS ALERT Mum & I are excited to announce that we have sold the shop. After 10 years we are "moving on" to new adventures. We will be sad to say good bye to everyone, but are excited to see what our future brings for us. Don't be alarmed, you will still have somewhere to shop....Bake Boss will be moving in from Monday 3rd August. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for further details about their opening.... 15.01.2022 I write this with mixed emotions but just wanted to say thankyou to you all. Tomorrow is the end of 10 years at The Bake Shack. We started in a small warehouse christened "The Dungeon" and moved to our new shop 6 years ago. We have shared so much with some of you from seeing the babies grow into big kids, birthdays, engagments, weddings, elopments etc.... It has brought me personally many very special people into my life who are now life time friends...you know who you are and unfortunately some friendships that went wrong which saddens me. A huge thankyou to my beautiful Mum Norma, Sue, Emma, Brooke, Kelly, Tab and Jess who have worked for us over the years... To all the wonderful Guest teachers, Suppliers, Reps and demonstrators including Handi Mulyana, Paul Mills and Margie Carter who shared their wealth of knowledge with us...what fun we had (especially after hours)!! And lastly Sam.....thankyou for putting up with me for 10 years I know its been trying for you especially when I mess up the computer lol...like processing end of day at midday..whoops but what journey we have had.
