21.01.2022 The Balanced Dog is super-excited to be teaming up with Dr Montana Mays from Pawsitively Awesome to open 'The Animal Wellness & Performance Clinic' in the Southern Highlands, NSW. Dr Montana is a Rehabilitation and Behaviour Veterinarian that has work in both the UK and Australia. She is originally from the Southern Highlands and is looking forward to returning to her hometown. We are also excited to have Dr Brooke Davis come onboard to provide equine osteopathic services to... the region. The bricks and mortar clinic has unfortunately been delayed due to the current Covid pandemic, but we are currently offering a mobile canine service throughout the Southern Highlands. Once the Covid pandemic has subsided we'll have more information about both the physical clinic and the equine services. If you'd like to learn more about 'The Animal Wellness & Performance Clinic' please head over to https://animal-rehab.com.au/

18.01.2022 I'm still open and treating doggos. Until otherwise instructed by the Australian Government, and taking the recommendations available on health.gov.au for allied health workers, I will be continuing to treat dogs. As I visit your home I understand you want to stay safe. Measures include:... Using hand sanitizer / washing hands and equipment regularly Staying healthy Where possible suggesting the treatment occur outside. I have a long line of needed so we can maintain social distancing. To the best of my knowledge I have not come into contact with anyone diagnosed with Covid-19, anyone that has returned from overseas and is within their self-isolation period, or anyone exhibiting the key symptoms which include - fever, dry cough, shortness or breath. I live alone with my two dogs. If you would prefer to reschedule, or if you have recently returned from overseas, been in contact with someone exhibiting symptoms of covid-19, or are exhibiting symptoms yourself, please get in contact. I'll keep you informed through these changing times.
