25.01.2022 The Beat Lab is now registered as a COVID Safe Business! We are excited to announce that we will start to reintroduce some face to face lessons from June 22nd. Current students will receive emails this week with more information. ... More exciting news! We have booked 7 new clients into drumming in the past 2 weeks! People are coming out of isolation and are keen to strike some skins! Tutor and Owner Sally, has an interview for Illawarra's Business Woman of the Year this week! 25.01.2022 Spending more time inside avoiding the Coronavirus means more time to ROCK OUT on your drum kits at home! Check out this fantastic exercise to improve your linear co-ordination and limb precision at the kit. For most students, I would recommend starting at 60bpm rather than Thomas Lang's recommended 90bpm. Even slower if you like.... Remember: priority is precision, then speed. Have fun! We are now very fortunate to welcome new tutor Jamal Salem. Jamal has just returned home from playing drums for Tate Sheridan and Matt Nightingale supporting Sir Elton John on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour in Aus! He holds a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Performance) through the Australian National University, has over 10 ...years experience teaching drums and he is keen to share his knowledge with the students at The Beat Lab on Monday and Tuesday evenings!!
