20.01.2022 Dear Patrons, We have been advised by NSW Health this evening of a confirmed case of COVID-19 within our venue on Friday 31st July between 5:30pm & 10:00pm. If you were at The Bennett during this period, you will receive a call from the NSW Department of Health today informing you of the necessary testing and self-isolation requirements.... A thorough deep clean of the hotel has been scheduled for this morning, and the hotel will be closed as all staff get tested and self-isolate until test results are known. Although we do not have a lot of information at hand presently, we will make sure to pass on any relevant information as soon as possible. 11.01.2022 UPDATE. We are pleased to say COVID test results for ALL of our staff have returned a NEGATIVE reading. Due to the mandatory self-isolation of 14 days for all employees working on Friday 31st July, we do not have enough staff available to open any earlier than Saturday 15th August.... We look forward to seeing everyone next week. The venue has had strict & diligent COVID safe plan in place from the 1st June, we will continue to uphold these thorough public health guidelines & ensure the venue remains compliant with all COVID safety measures.
