14.01.2022 This is one of the reasons we only install micro inverter systems. With our systems there is no dangerous DC voltage. The fire fighters have a hard time fighting these fires because, even with the power to the house isolated, the DC solar system is still producing electricity on the roof and into the house. Doesnt happen with our systems. Once the power to the house is isolated the solar on the roof completely stops producing. Want to find out more? 12.01.2022 Hi all, As some of you will have seen this, Enphase have announced the new Ensemble product which provides a grid independent power supply in the event of an outage.(copy link in to post) We are incredibly excited about this! However, the announcement has come from Enphase in the USA.... The Ensemble system will be coming to Australia, but we have not been told when. We have a close working relationship with the team at Enphase Australia and we will keep all our Solar Family updated in relation to release dates and availability. We will also endeavor to see if we can arrange for Enphase to hold an information session at The Black Shed Project. Very exiting times ahead - Stay tuned!
