These chewy little almond cookies flavoured with Davidson Plum powder from Rainforest Heart on the Atherton Tablelands are my first effort. We take Tolga macadamias, Australian almonds and Australian sunflower kernels and toss them in a delightfully weird meringue!! Yes meringue ! ... . It helps the moreish combination of marine salt from the Great Barrier Reef and local Silkwood black pepper stick to the nuts for an even coverage of flavour. .
