22.01.2022 Hey Hey Day Thrifters I feel that I Just need to be very clear about a few things! Everything Received, Sold and Raised from the sale of any Item by me or anyone else helping with the Community Fund Raising Shop when it open's, is put back into our Community and Town,... "Contrary to anything said by anyone over these last few months, as we do not all March to the same beat! Thank God" There are some of us who strongly believe in the charities we support and always will! So Here are a few Facts:- The CWA is the Oldest Association in Boyup Brook and are celebrating their 90th Birthday next month with very limited funds! The CWA are the ones who pushed for the rumble strips to be installed on the sides of the roads throughout Australia. They pushed for the financial support for all our war widows and single mums in Australia. They were the ones to push through government for the "Cash for Containers" that starts in WA on the 1st of October 2020 and has been running throughout Australia, which helps clean up our Beautiful Countryside. The CWA give's 93% of what is raised back to the communities to help whoever is in need of it. The CWA of WA has supported so many throughout Western Australia for so many years. So with Respect yes we rely on everything we receive from people in our communities and others to raise the much needed money to help support what we do. 17.01.2022 As You all know there has been many changes at The Boyup Brook Tip Shop Sadly So the best thing to do for all is to get the hell out of Dodge Right So We Did and moved our Little Old Bottoms right into Town We Got the Keys Today So We are Ready to Fly when we finish getting setup So Please keep those donations coming... We Just Need a Couple of Weeks to get things on shelves and Smiles on Faces Coz "NEW PEOPLE NEW DAY" Dudes! Is all I'm Sayin as with everyend is a new beginning Coz it's all about the Fun and Retail Therapy Don't you Think Can't wait to see you all again coz..... 13.01.2022 The Shop Received about 15 of these as a Donation from an Auction, and when a few local people kept coming into the shop back in early March this year looking to see if we had any of these for the Schools Snorkelling Week, I Bailed up a Lovely Teacher and asked if I can please give these to the school for the Kiddies snorkel week so they and their parents don't need to worry about trying to find one for that week and save them money also the school can use them as Boomerang suits so all the kids can get to use them throughout the years "JUST KEEP SWIMMING"
