15.01.2022 Hey Hey Day Thrifters I feel that I Just need to be very clear about a few things! Everything Received, Sold and Raised from the sale of any Item by me or anyone else helping with the Community Fund Raising Shop when it open's, is put back into our Community and Town,... "Contrary to anything said by anyone over these last few months, as we do not all March to the same beat! Thank God" There are some of us who strongly believe in the charities we support and always will! So Here are a few Facts:- The CWA is the Oldest Association in Boyup Brook and are celebrating their 90th Birthday next month with very limited funds! The CWA are the ones who pushed for the rumble strips to be installed on the sides of the roads throughout Australia. They pushed for the financial support for all our war widows and single mums in Australia. They were the ones to push through government for the "Cash for Containers" that starts in WA on the 1st of October 2020 and has been running throughout Australia, which helps clean up our Beautiful Countryside. The CWA give's 93% of what is raised back to the communities to help whoever is in need of it. The CWA of WA has supported so many throughout Western Australia for so many years. So with Respect yes we rely on everything we receive from people in our communities and others to raise the much needed money to help support what we do.
