25.01.2022 Toddler group also enjoyed some simple science activities such as the volcano with vinegar and bicarb soda.

25.01.2022 All of our wonderful mums have been entered into a special Mothers Day Raffle here at the centre. One lucky mum will be the winner of this wonderful prize. Raffle will be drawn on Thursday 7th May.

20.01.2022 Photo day Wednesday 9th September. Please wear your Centre T-shirts on the day if you have one. Parents whose children do not usually attend Wednesdays are encouraged to bring them in for their group photo however, you will be required to stay with your children until photo time. Social distancing either in the outside area of the centre or in your cars will be required. We will have a very tight schedule to keep this year as we do not want to keep people waiting, please ensure you arrive on time.

16.01.2022 a quick snapshot of the learning from Friday. Babies and Toddlers enjoying the baby dolls and sandpit. Kindy and Junior Kindy enhancing their fine motor skills with the tacky collage and cotton tip painting. Small balls were used to enjoy a large marble painting, sorting colours game and a bike obstacle course. Children were also creative with the Mobilo and enjoyed making a Cubby on the fort.

07.01.2022 Today we had a surprise visitor, Leah, from Ocean Life Education came in with some ocean creatures for us to look, feel and learn about. One interesting fact Leah told us about was the name for a Sea Star. They are not called Star Fish as they are not a fish! As well as creatures Leah also brought along some toy sea creatures, puzzles and games for the children to play with. Thanks Leah, we had a lovely morning.

04.01.2022 Sorry for the late posting...we had a busy week! Monday 13th we enjoyed a visit from Constable A.J and Viking the Police Buggy. The children were so excited to be able to dress up in Police shirts and pretend to drive Viking. .

01.01.2022 Science week was enjoyed last week After watching a few YouTube clips that had lots of amazing easy science experiments we were inspired to try some. Glue was used to make a design on paper, salt was sprinkled over it, shook off the excess, then applied water colour paint with eye droppers. This gave a very pretty effect as the salt absorbed all the liquid. We put some pea seeds onto some wet paper towel and put it into a plastic zip lock bag. Hopefully the seeds will ger...minate and we can cut them in half and inspect them. We Inspected the insects with magnifying glasses Using milk and detergent watched what happened when food colour was added What happens to a candle when covered over with a glass jar.
