22.01.2022 -Bear Breaking News Update- We are delighted to announce that here at St.BB’s Royal Toy Hospital ( a private division of the Button shop) we have had our first elderly Teddy Bear recovery from covid-tb & an unfortunate dog attack. Teddy( his real name withheld for privacy) is recovering well & only now receiving visits from close relatives. Teddy was admitted into the exclusive private hospital facility of St.BB’s in early April this year. He had been viciously attacked by a... dog & suffered severe head injuries & internal organ damage. After intense cranio-facial surgery he then contracted covid-tb & hopes of survival appeared slim. Fortunately arrival of much needed medical assistance & equipment arrived in time & whilst initial recovery appeared slow, Teddy finally turned the corner & is now showing signs of rapid improvement. We wish to thank the efforts of the esteemed medical team under Dr.Jan ‘Magic’Margaret & Matron Buttons. All well wishes have been passed on to the families & no harm has come to the offending dog. The dog is currently receiving treatment & therapy for anger management issues.

07.01.2022 ...the letter... Dear Joe, Mate, goodonya! Great to see you made it into the top job in the White House. I’m just sending you a little something from me & the folks here in Melbourne. They’re made here by Madam Buttons & all the crafty chicks around here make em for us. I noticed you wear some pretty lame black ones but I swear these are bloody awesome see’in we’ve had a lot of ‘black days’ these last six months.... Posted them to all me mates o.s. & they’re pretty wrapt in em. Stops us talking about the bloody weather an’ all for a change. I reckon you’ll love em too. Took me awhile to write this letter cause I couldn’t get to see me mate, Darryl Kerrigan. He’s the one with the Castle in Coolaroo. Bloody Legend, him & the missus. Dan had us in lockdown. The Kerrigan’s in the city & I’m from the hills, couldn’t move 25km in front or behind us! I reckon you must’ve had a chat with Dan by now but if not I’ll send you some clips I saved on ‘Dans Plan’ from the Herald. This’ll help you sort out the mess that Whackjob’s done to you good folk from the US. Darryl reckons these masks’ll be the next big thing! We could make a mint. We’ll be sending them everywhere around the world if they cotton on to how we do things around here. Should fix up the whole world economy an’ all!
